Game Plan of the Week #1

 Week One

Ok, here goes! I am challenging myself to get healthy and in doing so I want to encourage others to join me on my journey. I hope you will!First, I will try to be as transparent as I can. Reclaiming my health is sure to be a very personal journey, but I feel led to be an encourager to others who find themselves in a similar place in their life. With that being said, let’s do this!

I tend to get obsessed with the scale! I will be weighing in on Monday mornings and tracking my weight on a free app called Happy Scale.  I have used this app for awhile now and I really like it.  If you have found one you like to use leave the name of it in the comments below!

Today I took my measurements, so I can track those too!  Print this tracking sheet so you can too!


Overhauling my Diet

I know that the food you put in your body is fuel, but I’m not so good at choosing good, nutrient rich foods on a regular basis. This week, my focus is to begin to shift my poor eating habits and eat food that will fuel my body! I know this will be hard, but I can do hard things! My goal is to change my diet slowly, and develop a healthy lifestyle of eating.

Workout Plan

A couple of years ago I purchased 21 Day Fix. I really like the workout DVDs and have continued to use them periodically. BUT…I have never made it 21 days, until now! This week I plan to do the 21 Day Fix workouts in the morning before I head to school.

In the evenings, I plan to walk and take advantage of our beautiful weather.  I love walks, it’s a great time to decompress, talk to God and re-evaluate the day.  I am blessed to have a nice 3-mile loop close to my home that is perfect for this part of my plan.
