It’s Show & Tell Tuesday! I’m linking up with Andrea to share my guilty pleasures.
I have to admit, this topic threw me a bit. Hmmmmm…guilty pleasure? I thought of many things, but kept coming back to food. Yes, the struggle is real!
I narrowed my guilty food cravings down three.
Nachos are definitely #1…well, really, any Mexican food. I love it — all too much! A great plate of nachos, a good drink and my hubby to share them with is my idea of a perfect date night!
We shared these delicious nachos recently after a long day of sightseeing in Chicago. Ethan was tired and went to the hotel and we ventured to Public House and enjoyed some alone time.
Like I said before it was the perfect ending to a fun filled day!
Summer cocktails are my #2. I love a light, refreshing drink on a hot day. I am not a big drinker, but I do like to indulge once in awhile. So, these classify as guilty pleasures!
My summer 2017 go to favorites are margaritas and grapefruit beer.
How fun are these? This pic is a throwback to a past trip to San Diego. Sipping margaritas and people watching on Mission Beach. #takemeback
And…grapefruit beer. in a chilled glass. on ice. with a shot of raspberry vodka. Yes, please.
And my nemesis #3…my sweet tooth. It will be the death of me! I’m reminiscing about a couple of sweets we enjoyed on summer vacation.
While in Chicago we noticed donuts were a huge trend! Glazed and Infused was an amazing donut shop a block away from our hotel. If you have a chance go there!
This shop is ran by the sweetest, upbeat people and is just fun to go to. Their donuts are amazing and unfortunately for me they are open until midnight. So….morning and nightly visits may have happened on a couple of occasions. 🙂
Cheesecake and creme brule are my two favorite desserts and again Chicago had my back.
I found Magnolia Bakery in New York City and was sooooo happy to find one in Chicago!
They have THE BEST baked goods, THE BEST. Key Lime cheesecake was my go to!
Look how cute this bakery is, love it!
Here is the first Magnolia Bakery I went to in NYC. They always have a long line of people there grabbing their famous banana pudding. It is delicious!
So you can see my effort to transform my diet this summer was DERAILED once I left Montana!
It’s time to give up my guilty pleasures and get back on track!
Thanks for stopping by the blog today to check out my guilty pleasures. I am looking forward to see what others have to say in the link up!
