Game Plan of the Week: Week 8
It’s hard to believe another week of summer has come and gone. I’m coming off a great week and ready to tackle another! Who’s with me?
I continue to make sheet pan dinners! So perfect for summer cooking. I am getting a bit lazy, throwing a rub on on some chicken breasts and roasting veggies is my go to. However, they always tastes good! And the best part is it is so, so easy! I’m making a least one of these each week.
Salads are next on my list, my lunch go to almost daily!
And don’t forget the grill! We are grilling regularly. I’m skipping the bun and enjoying a jalapeno burger with avacado here. Yum!
I plan to keep my menu about the same this week. A lot of protein and veggies with each meal. Even though I am focusing on eating healthier, I am not seeing any significant weight loss. This is frustrating! However, I am feeling better overall.
I’ve finally worked up to a three mile run! I’m still slow, and it’s still hard, but I’m doing it! I plan to keep it up this week and meet up with my workout crew each morning this week. Last week I logged 28 miles of running and walking. I hope to do more this week. There’s a heat wave in Montana, so getting a run done in the morning is a MUST! We will also workout on the bleachers! I have a love/hate relationship with them…they are so good for me, but so hard!

It’s been so hot, I’ve been waiting until 8 or 9ish to go for an evening walk. Such a beautiful evening!
