Friday Favorites 05.19.2017

  Yay!  It’s Friday and time to link up with Andrea, Erika and Narci to share a few of my favorites!

WOW! What a crazy week! Our entire fifth grade class traveled to Cody, WY this week to enjoy the Buffalo Bill Center of the West.  It.was.awesome!  The kids were great, the parent chaperones were amazing, and I enjoyed a fun day with my kids!

The Buffalo Bill Center of the West is a MUST SEE!  The Center has five museums and a research library.  I spent the day with a group of boys, and of course the first place they wanted to explore was the Cody Firearms Museum.

  

Next, we toured the Plains Indians Museum.

The Draper Natural History Museum was a hit!

               

Last, we explored the Buffalo Bill Museum.

And Then …15 minutes from home we hit a Montana traffic jam!  Can you spot the tractor? #getmeoffthisbus

My Week One: Game Plan of the Week hit the blog.  Check it out here. It’s been a TOUGH week!  I am doing pretty good on my eating goals!  I have been making better choices when it comes to fueling my body with healthy foods, but I have a long way to go.  #homechefhelps

On the other front…the workouts have been H.A.R.D!  I am sooooo sore, like it is hard to do ANYTHING sore.  Other than being frustrated with my sore out of shape body, I am feeling good about week one!  How did your week go?

I ordered  this alarm clock I found at a hotel we stayed at recently, the Cubie Time Alarm Clock Charger. It is awesome!  It has two outlets and two USB ports for powering and/or charging items on your bedside table.  I love that it is small and doesn’t take up a lot of room.  They also have one with a bluetooth speaker, check it out here.

 

I have been focusing on revamping my diet this week.  Trying to eat real food that will fuel my body, but I do need some type of sweet treat to get me through the day.  I found these cookies and they do the trick.  They are packed with protein and taste yummy!  Be careful though, they are almost too good!  I have been cutting them in half and only eating one half per day.  I have tried  chocolate chip and white chocolate macadamia nut and both are delicious.

The countdown has begun…F.I.V.E days, count ’em, 1-2-3-4-5 days of school left!  My fifth graders, my family and I are ready for summer! #recessart #summerisalmosthere
