My Journey

I love food! If there is one thing I am good at it’s eating …AND… if there is one thing I am not good at it’s self control! These two things certainly don’t go well together!

40 is quickly creeping up on me and I am so disappointed in the way I have allowed myself get out of shape and overweight. Today, I weighed in at my all-time highest weight and feel at my absolute lowest both motivationally and emotionally! I know my eating habits and lack of physical activity are holding me back from being healthy, and yet I have done nothing to change. Well, something has to change because I at my breaking point.  I will not give in or give up!  It is time to take action, get serious, and focus on my health!

I decided to launch Jen on a Journey as a way to hold myself accountable! I hope to share my daily struggles and triumphs while at the same time connecting with others.

I would love for you will join me. My goal is to create a community of people that are intentionally working to improve themselves while encouraging others to do the same! Let’s do this!
