Eating & Exercise Plan (Week 1.2)

Yep, that’s right! I got off track, I mean really got off track!  I have 99 excuses why, but the bottom line is I quit focusing on eating right and working out regularly. I feel lousy, my clothes are tight, and my energy is down.  There’s nothing good about that, so I’m making a plan and committing to it!

Eating right it my nemesis!  I’m putting in some time meal planning in hopes I can stay on track throughout the week!  Here’s the plan…

For breakfast I’ll be having protein shakes.  I am a protein shake for breakfast kind of girl.  I like a scoop of protein powder, chia seeds, ground flax, and spinach.

I eat lunch at school, yep a working lunch!  Most of the week I eat leftovers.  Monday I’ll need something for lunch so, I made a healthy tuna salad. I make half of this recipe.

Two lunches ready to go!

I enjoy cooking dinner.  It’s a good time to decompress from the school day.

Here’s my menu for the week.

Monday: Home-Chef Southern Sweet & Spicy Pork Chop

Tuesday: Tex-Mex Turkey Stuffed Peppers Recipe Here

Wednesday: Home Chef – Steak Moutarde

Thursday: Game Night!  We’ll eat out before the soccer game!

Friday: Home Chef – Blue Cheese & Green Onion Crusted Pork Chop

Saturday: Home Chef – Chicken Schnitzel

Today I’m saying goodbye to unhealthy choices. I’m breaking up with bad eating habits. I’ve done it before and I’m finally ready to get back to it!

Since school started exercise has taken a backseat!  So here’s the deal I am ready to get back to an exercise routine. I’ll be getting up a little earlier so I can get in a workout! I know that if I plan to workout in the afternoon it normally gets interrupted or I make an excuse to not do it!  So early morning it my best option!

So, there it is! Eating and exercising plans in order!  Now I just need to follow through!

I am motivated to change, I need to change, and the time it now.

  1. I am on my way out the door right now- I squeeze in an early morning workout 2-3 days/week. We started meal planning last month again. It makes grocery shopping and weeknight dinners so much easier! So we plan on Sundays and then write up the grocery list and then write our meals on a chalk board in our kitchen so we are all on the same page 🙂

    1. Awesome! I love the idea of putting the meals up on a chalk board. This was my first time in tooooo long to get together a weekly meal plan. It’s only Wednesday, and I’m already noticing how helpful it is! Early morning is the best for me too! It was great to hear from you. Have a great week!

  2. Eating right is easier for me than exercising. I want to love exercising, but I just don’t! All that said, I need to start exercising and making better food choices. Maybe I’ll start again today too. 🙂
